About Guest House of Milwaukee
Guest House of Milwaukee has been a leading force in addressing homelessness and housing insecurity in the Greater Milwaukee community since 1982. Our mission is to provide shelter, housing, education, and supportive services to individuals experiencing homelessness who seek to transform their lives with dignity and purpose. What began as an emergency shelter has evolved into a comprehensive continuum of care designed to address both the immediate and underlying causes of homelessness. Today, Guest House offers emergency shelter, rapid re-housing and supportive housing programs, behavioral health and substance use treatment services, case management, employment-focused support, and community-based outreach. Through these integrated services, we help individuals and families move from crisis to stability and long-term independence. Guest House serves some of Milwaukee's most vulnerable residents, including individuals facing mental health challenges, substance use disorders, chronic homelessness, disabilities, and other barriers to housing and employment. We believe that every person deserves the opportunity to thrive, and we are committed to treating each individual with compassion, dignity, and respect. Together with our donors, volunteers, corporate partners, and community stakeholders, we are building a stronger, healthier, and more equitable Milwaukee where everyone has a place to call home.
