The Delta variant, a mutation of the COVID-19 virus that is believed to be significantly more contagious than previous strains, continues to spread in the U.S. 

 

The good news so far is that existing vaccines continue to effectively prevent serious illness, hospitalizations and deaths. But these emerging developments have an impact on employers, from masking policies in the workplace to disrupting plans for a large=scale return to the office for remote and hybrid workers.
