	r at the Milwaukee County Office of Emergency Management. The Delta varian
	t\, a mutation of the COVID-19 virus that is believed to be significantly 
	more contagious than previous strains\, continues to spread in the U.S. Th
	e good news so far is that existing vaccines continue to effectively preve
	nt serious illness\, hospitalizations and deaths. But these emerging devel
	opments have an impact on employers\, from masking policies in the workpla
	ce to disrupting plans for a large-scale return to the office for remote a
