Join us to discuss the importance of literacy, how to support children, young adults, and our community in learning more about the importance of literacy and how we can all incorporate into day-to-day life. There will also be a book cover reveal for Maya’s new project, and giveaways/raffle opportunities to receive her current book. As a nation, we face a literacy crisis that schools alone can’t fully address.
EVENT WILL INCLUDE:
· Presentation and Q&A with Maya Payne Smart
· Lunch catered by Chef Deborah
· Raffle & prizes giveaways
· Optional: Bring a book for our BBBS Little Library! (All ages and reading levels)
