FUEL PD Bootcamp - From Numbers to Narratives: Data Storytelling to Influence Decision Makers
About This Event
From Numbers to Narratives: Data Storytelling to Influence Decision Makers
You can have the right data and still lose the room. If you have ever watched your charts land flat, your insights get ignored, or your recommendations stall after a meeting, you are not alone. The difference is rarely the numbers. It is the story you build around them.
In today’s data-driven workplace, analysis is only half the battle. This hands-on session helps early and mid-career professionals move beyond reporting and into influence by turning data snapshots into narrative arcs that drive decisions. You will learn how to establish stakes, frame the challenge, elevate the most important insights, and propose a clear, data-backed path forward. Whether you are speaking to technical peers or senior leaders, you will leave with a practical approach for making your message stick and your recommendations easier to act on.
Attend, and you will:
- Learn how to balance accurate data, persuasive narrative, and clear visuals so people understand what matters
- Practice tailoring your story to different audiences, from technical teams to senior decision makers
- Strengthen the “so what” by distilling complex information into two to three insights people remember
- Explore techniques for building trust and influencing outcomes, even without formal authority
- Leave with a repeatable framework you can use in presentations, dashboards, and written updates
Join us for a session that helps you turn information into impact. Bring a current project or dataset you are working with, and be ready to translate your numbers into a story that drives action.
