	ts down-payment assistance budget by 90%\, Data You Can Use helped turn ne
	ighborhood-level information into action. The organization prepared distri
	ct-level data showing who was being served\, where homeownership support w
	as needed\, and what the proposed cuts would mean for Milwaukee families. 
	Residents and housing advocates used that information to make their case\,
	 and the city restored $1M to the program. That is data doing what it is s
	upposed to do: helping people see clearly\, organize effectively\, and pus
	h for change. Victor at the Helm At the helm of that work is Dr. Victor Am
	aya\, President and Executive Director of Data You Can Use. Since taking t
	he lead in 2021\, Victor has helped grow the organization\, increase reven
	ue by 140%\, and drive a 400% increase in event participation. Under his l
	eadership\, Data You Can Use has expanded the reach of tools like Neighbor
	hood Portraits\, which provides detailed reports on 27 Milwaukee neighborh
	oods\, and MKE Indicators\, which tracks citywide data across housing\, he
	alth\, population\, equity and access\, and market value. A Record of Impa
